Leveraging Higher Education Expertise to Provide Accreditation Consulting
To advance the mission of a national security graduate school, administrators set a goal to receive accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Having already achieved candidacy status towards accreditation, the school hired Hezel Associates to assist with the institutional self-study prior to the MSCHE visit. To support the school, Hezel Associates partnered with consultants to leverage decades of knowledge in higher education, providing recommendations and advice to the Self Study Steering Committee. Throughout the engagement, consultants met with the study group, providing detailed directions and responses to questions concerning compliance with MSCHE standard’s criteria. Through thoughtful consulting, our team helped the school transform and improve many institutional policies and procedures. With the support of Hezel Associates and the consulting team, the school greatly improved their self-study and its alignment with MSCHE standards.
