Senior Research Analyst
As a Senior Research Analyst with Hezel Associates, Mr. Hayman has extensive experience with a variety of data collection methods and management of complex projects. He is adept at conducting qualitative and quantitative primary research, performing secondary research, instrument design, and data analysis. In addition, Mr. Hayman is interested in strategic planning and strives to build research and evaluation approaches around a clients’ needs. Mr. Hayman lives and works in the Washington, DC metro area, representing Hezel Associates to clients and partners in the region.
Mr. Hayman spearheaded evaluation activities for four United States Department of Labor TAACCCT grants. These multi-site evaluations consisted of community college consortia in four states (Connecticut, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania) aimed at providing technical training for America’s changing workforce. Other projects he has managed include a landscape analysis of professional development opportunities available to NYS teachers, conducted for the State University of New York (SUNY), and multiple National Science Foundation (NSF) evaluations for ITEST, ATE, and IUSE programs. Mr. Hayman earned a master’s in public administration from Syracuse University and a master’s in professional studies from State University of New York-College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
