The 21st Annual NUTN Conference on Digital Learning Munches on the 'Whole Enchilada'
Building on the highly successful distance learning conferences organized annually by the National University Telecommunications Network (NUTN), the 2003 conference "Digital Learning: The Whole Enchilada," June 1-3, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas. The recipe for the 'whole enchilada' includes plenary, panel and concurrent sessions focusing on student services, wireless technology, e-Learning costs, virtual partnerships, corporate training & education, communication methods & techniques and military education.
Highlights of this year's conference include opening session keynote speaker Don W. Brown, Commissioner of Higher Education for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, who will address, "The Role of Digital and Distance Learning in Closing the Gaps in Texas"; Gary A. Woods, Chief, Department of Defense (DoD) Continuing Education Programs, presenting "Military Education: Bigger 'N Texas," and during the closing session, Donald M. The conference, offered by NUTN in cooperation with Old Dominion University, Dallas TeleLearning, MBS Direct, WebCT and Blackboard, is designed to bring together distance learning administrators and practitioners; continuing education and higher education directors; college and university faculty and academic affairs personnel; distance learning faculty and staff; business and higher education partners; military education and training personnel as well as students.
