Schmidt and Stirling Join Full-Time
Leia Schmidt was hired as a market development researcher on the Communications and Market Development team. Schmidt has worked for Hezel Associates as a marketing assistant since June 2006. She holds a Master’s in Education from Syracuse University with a concentration in English, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies in Policy and Management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
Jill Stirling joined the Communications and Market Development team full-time as a communications specialist. Stirling worked as a public relations assistant beginning May 2006 during her graduate work. She holds a Master’s in Media Management and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Syracuse University.
Hezel Associates Hires Byrnes and Shute
Dolores Byrnes was hired as a research analyst for higher education. Byrnes has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of education and information management. As a research analyst for the higher education division of Hezel Associates, Ms. Byrnes is responsible for contributing to key projects including an early childhood and special education market assessment for a private higher education institution, and a programming market analysis for Governor's State University.
Lisa Shute joined Hezel Associates as an executive assistant. Most recently, she was a one-on-one teaching assistant for the Oswego Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), and she operated a daycare center. Shute has been executive assistant to the president of Blasland, Bouck & Lee, the Syracuse-based, worldwide engineering firm, and also a human resources assistant at Haylor, Freyer & Coon. She will work closely with the president and CEO of Hezel Associates. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Cayuga Community College with additional concentration in finance.
Our Work
Governors State University
Governors State University chose Hezel Associates to conduct its “Off-Campus Education Centers Programming Market Analysis.” The project involves a combination of secondary and primary research to identify promising opportunities for growth. Governors State wants to expand its presence through new credit and non-credit programming, in particular at three of its off-campus education centers.
