IQAT 2.0 Includes New Questions, Benchmarks Additional Elements of Distance Learning Programs

IQAT, (The Interactive Quality Assessment Tool), cosponsored by Hezel Associates and the National University Telecommunications Network (NUTN), is pleased to announce the release of IQAT version 2.0, available February 15, 2008. Since its launch in 2006, more than 50 charter member institutions use the web-based tool for the benchmarking abilities it provides in five core areas:  Completion Rates, Tuition and Fees, Courses & Programs, Faculty , and Library Resources.

In response to the ever-changing needs of subscriber institutions, multiple additions have been made to the surveys that gather institutional data for benchmarking.  IQAT still maintains its longitudinal data integrity from Academic Year 2004-05 to the newest survey for Academic Year 2006-07.  Examples of recent additions in IQAT 2.0 include the consideration of faculty satisfaction, intellectual property rights, differences in learning modalities, online library database utilization, withdrawal and incomplete statistics.

In addition to the new factors for evaluation, IQAT now features user-friendly reports that can be customized and downloaded at the subscribing institution's convenience.

For more information on how your institution can participate in the benchmarking effort, visit www.iqat.org or contact Melissa@hezel.com.
