IQAT Welcomes Community College Subscribers
Melissa Fleischmann
As the Interactive Quality Assessment Tool grows in acceptance throughout the higher education community, subscribers consistently request more direct access to their peer institutions. In an effort to provide this unique experience, IQAT introduces membership in its first niche peer group for distance learning programs, the Community College Benchmark Group (CCBG) at www.iqat.org. Upon subscription, members of the CCBG have the opportunity to benchmark their distance learning activities directly against other community college subscribers. In addition, members of the group maintain access to the same broad-spectrum data for all IQAT subscribing institutions, providing information at a more global scale. IQAT subscribers benchmark in five key areas: courses and programs, tuition and fees, library resources, faculty, and completion rates. LISTSERV discussions are available to all members, as well as various levels of data analysis and report review. Current members of the community college benchmark group include the Dallas Community College District, Rio Salado College, Hutchinson Community College, the Community Colleges of Pennsylvania, and many others. |
