HEZEL ASSOCIATES

Dr. Steven Grossman joined Hezel Associates as Senior Research Associate.  Grossman comes to Hezel Associates after 35 years working in public education, most recently as assistant superintendent at Onondaga Cortland Madison BOCES, and entering private consulting in 2004.

Dr. Li Wang, Research Associate, is the newest member of the PBS TeacherLine evaluation team.  She received a Master’s Degree in educational psychology from Texas A&M University, a Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of New Orleans and a Doctoral Degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of New Orleans.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English education from Hunan Normal University, China.  Most recently, she worked as a program assistant and research assistant for the Center for Teaching Excellence at Texas A&M University.  Dr. Wang has authored numerous publications and presentations.

Bryan Ford joined Hezel Associates as Project Coordinator.  He will use his research experience and education background for the benefit of clients such as the Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY) – Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) training program, and the PBS TeacherLine report and analysis.  He will support the research and evaluation efforts.  Most recently, Ford was a researcher/developer for a Federal “Teaching American History Grant,” for which he researched and developed content and multimedia for three separate online courses, monitored and implemented the social studies curriculum, and essentially aided the success of the entire initiative.  Ford received a Master’s of Science in Education for Social Studies from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland, as well as his Bachelor’s Degrees in both Adolescent Education Social Studies and History.
