added to the Distance Education Clearinghouse
on a continual basis. The Clearinghouse
is managed and maintained by the University
of Wisconsin-Extension, in cooperation
with its partners and other University
of Wisconsin institutions.

The Southern Regional Education Board has three reports on its website: Credit
Issues, Quality Assurance, and Student
Services. At its June, 1999, meeting,
the SREB approved the establishment
of the SREB Distance Learning Policy
Laboratory. Building upon the work of
the Educational Technology Cooperative
and the Electronic Campus, the Policy
Laboratory seeks to reduce or eliminate
existing or potential policy barriers
to distance learning activities in three
broad areas: access, quality, and cost.

Association (SETDA) is the principal
association representing the state directors

subcommittees and task forces to assess,
analyze and propose recommendations
