Hezel Associates’ experience working with higher education organizations spans two decades. A majority of our work in the higher education sector has focused on defining potential markets and assessing the capabilities of our clients in effectively launching or growing their programs. The collective results of our work have impacted both the colleges and communities they serve. Driving our efforts is the question, “What strategies will best bolster the institutional thrust and capacity to serve its community?”

Members of the Hezel team are actively engaged in monitoring the higher education market and community needs. We help organizations focus on building their program, marketing, infrastructure and administrative capacity with agility and flexibility. As consultants, we work with our clients to establish strategic plans that can respond to internal and external environmental changes. In the last year, our projects have included for-profit and non-profit institutions seeking to find new markets and sustainable revenue streams. Beyond market development, our experience has included the development of a five-year strategic plan for a state education system, and two multi-national organizations.

Public Television

Hezel Associates has built longstanding relationships with Public Broadcasting stations and administrative entities throughout the United States as a result of the company’s role as strategic partner and evaluator. Through these relationships, we have amassed a considerable depth of understanding of the forces influencing national and state PBS educational efforts.
